In March, NEEC conducted free webinars for members with our governmental affairs teams in Washington and Oregon. The format worked successfully and we have decided to extend the concept and offer our members opportunity to participate in informational webinars on items of interest to the industry. All current members (subtle reminder to renew your dues if you have not already!) will receive a webinar schedule for the next 6 months. Participation is easy, just a phone line and internet connection is all you need. We also invite any NEEC member to submit ideas for webinars that you would like to present. We simply ask that the topic be of general interest to the industry, non-commercial (these are not intended to be infomercials), and sized to fit into a one hour time frame. Members with ideas may submit your idea to firstname.lastname@example.org Provide a title, a short narrative description (no more than 200 words), a short bio of the presenter, and the timeframe in which you would like to present. NEEC staff will contact you for additional information. Depending on response, we may be unable to offer slots for all those who propose ideas.
