Position Description: Director of Client Engagement
At Evergreen, we seek to continually evolve with our clients, collaboratively identify needs, and creatively solve them. This position’s primary focus is to support meaningful partnerships with the clients that we serve today and aspire to serve in the future.

Working with other Evergreen leaders, client feedback, as well as insight from market trends, this role will support the execution of Evergreen’s client engagement strategy. While there is division of responsibility between the Director of Client Engagement and the roles of others on the leadership team (delivery, design & development, finance, and internal operations), cooperation and some overlap between the roles will be critical for overall success.

Functions:

  • Client Engagement Strategy: In collaboration with the leadership team, lead the refinement of Evergreen’s client engagement plan. This plan seeks to gain a better understanding of our client’s evolving needs and informs how Evergreen should adapt to meet them.
  • Proposals & Sales Support Infrastructure: Cost-effectively support all Evergreen client development activities with a combination of staff, processes, and tools throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Client Engagement: Support Evergreen staff who manage the delivery aspects of our business to better understand client’s businesses, issues, and needs. Through proactive client engagement and face-to-face customer contact; gain feedback that improves our delivery, informs areas of development, and/or identifies new needs.
  • Opportunity Development: As needs are identified, work with clients, Evergreen’s design & development team, subject matter experts, and strategic partners to craft custom solutions that will result in delighted customers.
  • Strategic Partnership Management: In collaboration with the leadership team and using our core guiding principles regarding partnerships, develop meaningful relationships that are mutually beneficial for our business and our clients.

Job Scope:
This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. Successful candidates should be able to analyze and distill complex information, draw out relevant insights and implications in order to accomplish the desired business objectives. Position requires exceptional problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, dedicated to ensuring Evergreen’s services meet client’s needs.

Position Description: Program Manager, Pacific Northwest
Design, develop, manage, and continuously improve energy efficiency programs to meet and exceed clearly established goals working with team members, external resources, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, design/develop and implement new strategic initiatives that increase Evergreen’s delivery of valued products and services to clients;
  • Research, design and implement internal company strategies and activities, as directed by Evergreen’s Leadership Team, for continuous improvement;
  • Provide contract management and improvement support to confirm outstanding performance with key clients for overall delivery of programs;
  • Review internal processes, analyze energy efficiency program delivery data and procedures for existing programs and provide recommendations for overall continuous improvement;
  • Research “best of class” program designs nationally and provide recommendations to improve and enhance Evergreen’s existing service levels;
  • Develop strategy documents, and work plans to guide program implementation actions;
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management, team members, clients, and other stakeholders, to help them achieve project goals and program results;
  • Develop and successfully manage program budgets to meet the needs of the company and our clients;
  • Manage and support field team members to achieve program and contract goals.
