Seattle Building Energy Benchmarking Providers

The Seattle Building Energy Benchmarking and Reporting legislation (City of Seattle Municipal Code) requires commercial and multifamily building owners to conduct annual energy performance tracking through the U.S. EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, a free and secure online benchmarking tool. The tool is used in most professional energy audits and is a pre-requisite for the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating for existing buildings.

The ordinance requires three components: Benchmarking, disclosure, and reporting. For more information about the ordinance, you can email Technical Support for the City of Seattle Energy Benchmarking Disclosure Program at energybenchmarking@seattle.gov or click here for the City of Seattle Benchmarking website.

If you are a building owner who need benchmarking assistance, this directory can connect you with a provider.

Click a company to view company profile. Companies marked with an asterisk (*) are Energy Star Partners, and companies marked with a dagger (†) are Women/Minority-owned Business Enterprises.
