Steve Wright, BPA Administrator for the past 11 years, recently announced his retirement from public service effective January 2013. In one of the best and clearly most heartfelt retirement letters, Wright expressed his gratitude for a career in public service and an opportunity to work with a dedicated and talented staff at BPA.

This week, BPA has selected Karen Meadows as Acting Vice President for Energy Efficiency. Karen comes to this position with a wealth of knowledge and experience in several leadership roles with both BPA's energy efficiency programs and the energy efficiency community as a whole. For those of you who don't know her, she has been Manager of WorkPlace Services (i.e. Facilities) for the past year, prior to that she was Director of Energy Services in BPA's Energy Efficiency organization.

Join us for the fourth annual Green Professionals Conference on February 16, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. The conference is intended to educate, motivate and provide a forum to network and initiate conversations.
