Steve Dunnivant
EMP2
NEEC Secretary
Steve grew up in SE Kansas and received his BS and MS
degree in the 70's from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg,
KS after four years in the US Air Force. After graduation,
he met and married Deb and moved to the NW to escape the
hot and humid summers of the Midwest. After a period in
Idaho Falls, Steve and Deb moved to Richland, WA with their
son, Joshua.
Steve and Deb started EMP2 almost 10 years ago to be able
to stay in the Energy Management business as Hanford transitioned
to more clean-up activities. Steve finds work with EMP2
very rewarding where the efforts to reduce customers' energy
use and identify savings has become a more than full time
mission. His membership in the Northwest Energy Efficiency
Council helps ensure focus and attention to energy conservation
in the legislature and with the utilities. Steve appreciates
the networking opportunities that are provided by NEEC
to Energy Service Providers.
Steve is a Senior Member of the ISA, and a Charter Life
Member of the Association of Energy Engineers.
