NEEC Joins Energy Efficiency Day on October 5

On October 5, NEEC is joining regional and national organizations, businesses, utilities, and individuals working to promote energy efficiency – the cheapest, quickest way to meet our energy needs, cut consumer bills and reduce pollution, for the 2nd annual Energy Efficiency Day.

Campaign Goals • Show the positive impact of energy efficiency• Showcase concrete, effective ways to save energy and money• Spotlight people and technologies involved in energy efficiency• Attract participants to the Light Bulb Challenge and Office Lighting Challenge

Participating on #EEDAY2017 is easy and fun! Sign up to access the social media kit. Then, on October 5, share EE-related stories, tips, resources, and more online.

Here are a few ways to get involved: • Share content on social media.• Write a blog post about your energy efficiency success story or tips• Pledge to upgrade to LEDs at home or work. • Pitch a story to a news outlet about what your organization is doing to improve energy efficiency
